About The Position
RestorixHealth is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse to provide wound care. Using the Nursing Process, the RN plans, implements, directs, and evaluates patient care to achieve optimal outcomes. The nurse works collaboratively with other disciplines on the assigned unit, prioritizes nursing actions, and implements physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames. The role includes educating and counseling patients and their families about wound care. Ongoing training is provided, and prior wound care experience is not required.
Requirements
- Associate degree in nursing.
- Valid Registered Nursing license.
- Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing required for Magnet Hospitals.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience with billing and coding is preferred.
- Prior wound care experience is not required; training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care based on scientific principles, nursing theory, and evidence-based practice.
- Recognize changes in a patient’s condition and intervene appropriately.
- Prioritize nursing actions based on patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes.
- Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames.
- Educate and counsel patients and their families on wound care processes and issues.
- Collaborate with other disciplines on the assigned unit.
