About The Position

Epicentre is seeking a Worship Director to cultivate a vibrant, Spirit-led culture of worship and prayer and lead worship and creative teams in support of the church’s identity, mission, and vision. The role serves the Word, invites ministry response, builds unity for mission, and develops clear pathways for identifying, training, and multiplying worship and creative leaders. Within a 20-hour workweek, first priority is Sunday worship and raising up the worship team. The Worship Director sets direction and equips others, partnering with the Technical Director and volunteers on creative and technical execution. The role leads Sunday worship, oversees the worship leader rotation, designs worship sets and transitions, schedules teams in Planning Center Services, and ensures rehearsals and services are prepared and spiritually grounded. It establishes leadership development and training rhythms, shepherds volunteers, leads weekly Production & Sermon Team planning, translates service vision into executable plans, and sets creative direction for visuals, stage, lighting, and video. The Worship Director supervises and coaches the Technical Director and collaborates with Communications and other teams to align the Sunday experience. The Worship Director also cultivates church-wide worship and prayer, partners with House of Prayer leadership, and provides worship leadership for World Mandate LA and other gatherings as scheduled. The position participates in staff meetings, Hope Rooms, retreats, and conferences, and champions Epicentre’s vision. The role is hybrid, based in Pasadena, California, with on-site Sundays and in-office Tuesdays and Thursdays; remaining work hours are flexible. It is a 0.5 FTE, 20-hour-per-week exempt position, with a target start date of November 15, 2026.
