About The Position

As an integral part of the Operational team, the Workshop Facilitator delivers high-quality work readiness interventions to improve the soft and hard skills of TANF program participants. The effectiveness of these interventions is measured by improvements in job readiness and employment preparation that lead to job placement. The role facilitates in-person and virtual job-readiness and other program-related workshops for customers, clients, and participants statewide. The Facilitator also works with project leadership to evaluate workshops, contributes to workshop content development and improvement, and coordinates workshops with program and community partners.

Requirements

Self-motivated and flexible team player.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to train and instruct others in a group setting.
Strong customer service skills.
Familiarity with videoconferencing systems.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in human services, social services, education, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual ability.
Previous experience working in social services and with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

Facilitate in-person and virtual job-readiness and other program-related workshops for customers, clients, and participants statewide.
Work with project leadership to evaluate the success of job-readiness and other program-related workshops.
Participate in workshop content development and recommend improvements to workshop content.
Coordinate workshops with program and community partners.
Manage workshop sign-up and sign-in processes.
Track workshop attendance and participation.
Collaborate with the team to create a monthly workshop calendar offering multiple workshops daily.
Facilitate staff training as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
