About The Position

Pax8 is hiring a Workplace Technology Specialist in the USA (Denver, CO) to elevate the in-office meeting, event, and visitor experience through world-class workplace technology and smart automation. This role is a unique blend of technology and experience, where you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of audio-visual (A/V) and meeting technology in various settings, from executive meetings to all-hands events and partner tours. You will also be involved in leveraging new tools and automation, including AI, to enhance user experiences and streamline processes. Requirements

  • Proven experience supporting professional audio-visual (A/V) and meeting technology in environments such as corporate offices, live events, or production spaces.
  • Strong real-time troubleshooting instincts, with the ability to remain calm, diagnose issues quickly, and maintain the experience flow.
  • A service mindset with a genuine enjoyment of helping people and taking pride in making their experience smoother and more welcoming.
  • Considerable organizational skill and the ability to juggle multiple priorities across meetings, events, and day-to-day workplace support.
  • Clear, collaborative communication skills, with the ability to work well across teams and translate technical concepts into simple guidance.
  • Curiosity and confidence in exploring new tools, including AI and automation, to continuously improve workplace operations.
  • B.A./B.S. in a related field or equivalent work experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms (or similar conferencing platforms).
  • Familiarity with ticketing/helpdesk systems (such as ServiceNow).

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and maintain workplace A/V across meeting rooms, event spaces, and production environments.
  • Provide hands-on support during high-visibility events such as town halls, all-hands meetings, live events, and executive presentations, including real-time troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with Events, IT, and Production/Studios teams to deliver polished, on-brand experiences.
  • Train employees on workplace meeting and A/V technology, creating guides for easy and repeatable set-ups.
  • Manage A/V vendors, contracts, and service relationships, coordinating escalations and preventative maintenance.
  • Provide welcoming and responsive support for employees and visitors to ensure the workplace is effortless and highly functional.
  • Manage room booking, visitor check-in, digital signage, and other workplace tech systems, tracking requests and using insights for improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to automate workflows, improve support journeys, and enhance work efficiency through AI-enabled tools and continuous improvement.
