Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR; or three (3) years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree will be considered. A combination of relevant education and experience is also acceptable.
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ of experience in employee relations, workplace investigations, HR, or related field.
  • Up to 15% travel may be required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a Home Health or Hospice services environment preferred.
  • Professional Human Resources (PHR) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct prompt, thorough, and impartial investigations into: Employee relations concerns (harassment, discrimination, retaliation, accommodation issues, policy violations). Workplace conduct issues (bullying, disruptive behavior, violence, code of conduct violations).
  • Partner with key stakeholders to coordinate investigations, reporting and recommend actions.
  • Interview complainants, respondents, and witnesses; gather and evaluate evidence; maintain detailed documentation.
  • Apply investigative standards under the direction of the Director of Workplace, Compliance and Privacy Investigations to ensure investigations are conducted promptly, independently, and in accordance with applicable employment laws, and organizational policies.
  • Prepare clear, objective, and comprehensive investigative reports.
  • Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all employee relations activities.
  • Proactively identify and address trends in employee relations that may affect culture, safety or regulatory compliance.
  • Promote a culture of patient safety, quality care, and ethical conduct through all employee relations activities.
