As a Workplace Experience Lead you will own and elevate the daily operations of our New York office, creating an environment that is welcoming, efficient, and aligned with our culture. In this role, you’ll ensure our physical workspace runs smoothly while leading key programs that enhance the employee experience—from office presentation and food programs to employee onboarding and ongoing support. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high-ownership environments, brings operational rigor, enjoys being the go-to person for the office, and takes pride in making day-to-day experiences better for others.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in workplace, facilities, or startup operations
  • Able to work onsite 5 days a week, with flexibility for occasional evening events
  • Proven ability to manage office and facilities projects end-to-end
  • Experience working with vendors and building management
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate in ambiguity
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on improving processes
  • Excellent communication skills and a high level of professionalism and presentation
  • High energy, adaptable, and excited to be the go-to person for the office

Responsibilities

  • Respond to office-related requests promptly and with care
  • Run and improve workplace programs like lunch, snacks, swag, and onboarding
  • Manage vendors and day porters to keep shared spaces clean, stocked, and consistent
  • Lead facilities projects, including managing upkeep and repairs
  • Handle maintenance issues and emergencies quickly and effectively
  • Track space usage, manage inventory, and keep systems organized
  • Act as an approachable onsite resource for employees, with an interest in supporting HR-related needs
