About The Position

JLL is seeking a Director, Law Firm Workplace Analytics to support the growth of JLL's law firm practice. This role focuses on data analytics, market intelligence, and client-facing support, combining workplace expertise with business development to establish JLL as a leader in legal sector workplace solutions. The position involves collecting and analyzing law firm workplace data, developing benchmarking studies, researching costs, creating market reports, and building a database of law firm space standards and best practices. Additionally, the role requires cultivating relationships with industry professionals, partnering with regional markets, and establishing JLL as a thought leader. Business development support includes assisting brokers with client presentations, proposals, and providing upfront workplace consulting. Client and project support involves offering workplace expertise, assisting with space programming and utilization studies, and developing sector-specific solutions. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 6-10 years experience in workplace strategy, space planning, corporate real estate, or related field.
  • Strong construction knowledge including familiarity with construction processes, timelines, and project delivery methods.
  • Understanding of construction dates, scheduling, and how construction phases impact workplace planning and occupancy.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data collection, analysis, and presentation.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable presenting to clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Business development interest and aptitude for relationship building.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of workplace planning principles, space standards, and utilization concepts.

  • Experience with AutoCAD or space planning software.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze local, regional, and national law firm workplace data including space utilization, cost benchmarks, and industry trends.
  • Develop benchmarking studies comparing law firm workplace metrics across markets and firm sizes.
  • Research construction pricing, FF&E costs, and project expenses specific to legal environments.
  • Create quarterly and annual market reports on legal sector workplace trends.
  • Build comprehensive database of law firm space standards, utilization rates, and workplace best practices.
  • Support annual construction cost reporting and market analysis initiatives.
  • Cultivate relationships with local construction managers, architects, and vendors serving law firms.
  • Build network within local legal community through industry events and associations.
  • Partner with regional markets to share insights and coordinate national data collection.
  • Establish JLL as thought leader in legal sector workplace solutions.
  • Partner with brokers on client presentations, proposals, and business development activities.
  • Present workplace guidance and process recommendations to prospects and clients.
  • Provide upfront workplace consulting to support sales efforts.
  • Create client-facing materials, case studies, and thought leadership content.
  • Support pursuit teams with data-driven insights and market intelligence.
  • Participate in client meetings and industry conferences as subject matter expert.
