About The Position

The Workforce Planning Analyst will serve as a dedicated analytical partner to HRBPs and the Workforce Planning Manager on transformation and strategic planning initiatives. This role will provide the research, workforce analysis, data modeling, and insight generations needed to support workforce decisions across the organization. Initially, the analyst will partner closely with the Workforce Planning Manager on high-priority workforce impact assessments & transformation initiatives. As the workforce architecture model matures, the analyst will provide analytical support to HR Business Partners leading workforce architecture projects within their client groups while ensuring a consistent methodology, data foundation, and decision-making framework across the enterprise.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Data Management, Statistics, Math, Economics, or related field
  • Three (3) years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience with Workday Reporting
  • Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)
  • Ability to collaborate with both technical and business staff
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Aptitude for math and the ability to review and understand numeric data, graphs, and statistics.
  • Database management and development
  • Detailed and thorough
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point) and Access
  • Proactive and adaptable
  • Problem solving and investigative skills
  • Report writing, including charts, graphs, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with database management or big data tools
  • Experience with the Workday Prism platform
  • MS-Access/SQL data base development, VB Macro development in Excel, Power Builder development or similar skill
  • 3 years of experience in People Analytics or Finance
  • Familiarity with workforce planning, transformation, internal mobility and action planning concepts
  • Experience using Power BI, Tableau, or other analytical tools
  • Experience creating executive level presentations

Responsibilities

  • Creates and maintains databases and management reports; analyzes and interprets data to identify anomalies, trends and opportunities for improvements
  • Maintains, develops and builds data sources using the Workday Prism platform
  • Extracts, analyzes, and coordinates data to assist business segments with making changes to policies, procedures, and business practices
  • Interprets, analyzes results, and provides insights to team and manager to determine operational impact, trends, opportunities
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
  • Captures, develops, and documents Human Resources data definitions, business rules, and data quality requirements
  • Ensures compliance with deliverable reporting requirements by performing quality data audits and analysis
  • Works with managers to apply data to business goals and analytical requirements, which may include capacity planning, volume forecasting and unit costing
  • Operates under moderate supervision
  • Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision
  • Conduct workforce impact assessments to evaluate the effect of business, technology, process, and organizational changes on jobs, skills, and talent supply & demand
  • Develop scenario analyses to identify future workforce gaps and the viability of potential action plans
  • Analyze labor demand, workforce demographics, attrition patterns, internal mobility trends, and skills data to inform strategic workforce decisions.
  • Translate complex workforce data into narratives connected to business outcomes, productivity, risk mitigation, and organizational readiness

  • Job Range Target: Minimum: $67,806.20 USD
  • 50th Percentile: $91,730.00 USD
