D’Youville University’s Center for Workforce Development is seeking Adjunct Allied Health Workforce Instructors to support short-term healthcare certificate programs. This role is intended for qualified healthcare professionals who are actively certified, licensed, or otherwise qualified in the specific area they will teach. Instructors will support workforce programs through classroom instruction, online course support, hands-on skills training, demonstrations, simulations, competency checkoffs, student coaching, and workplace-readiness preparation. This position is not intended for general teaching applicants. Candidates must have direct experience and, where required, active certification, licensure, or instructor eligibility in the specific program area they are applying to teach. This is a part-time, course-based position. Assignments will vary based on program offerings, enrollment, instructor qualifications, and student needs. Some instruction may occur online or in hybrid formats, but hands-on skills training, demonstrations, labs, and competency checkoffs will be conducted in person as required.
