Workforce Coordinator
About The Position
Bilgewater Group is a Chicago-based diversified services company founded in 2003. We operate across two core divisions: food service and care. Our food service division manages a network of quick-service and counter-service locations across the greater Chicagoland area, serving thousands of customers every day at high-traffic venues, including commercial districts, transit hubs, and retail centers. We are looking for a Workforce Coordinator to support staffing coordination and day-to-day workforce operations. You will help coordinate schedules, track staffing needs, communicate with teams, and support coverage across the organization.
Requirements
- Previous experience in workforce coordination, scheduling, operations, administration, or a similar role
- Strong organization and attention to detail
- Good communication and follow-up skills
- Ability to manage changing priorities and scheduling needs
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and scheduling systems
- Strong problem-solving and coordination skills
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Reliable internet connection and workspace
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- Previous workforce management or scheduling experience
- Familiarity with workforce management or scheduling software
- Experience coordinating employees across multiple locations or teams
- Background in food service, hospitality, retail, care, or other multi-location businesses
Responsibilities
- Coordinate employee schedules and staffing requests
- Monitor staffing needs and help identify coverage gaps
- Communicate schedule updates and staffing information to employees and managers
- Maintain accurate workforce and scheduling records
- Track attendance, availability, and schedule changes
- Follow up on staffing requests and operational needs
- Support managers with routine workforce coordination
