The Workforce Coordinator is responsible for coordinating workforce development programming that prepares participants for sustainable, living wage careers. Using a strength based, trauma informed approach, the Workforce Coordinator recruits participants, provides individualized career coaching and case management, coordinates workforce training cohorts, develops employer partnerships, and connects participants to employment, internships, apprenticeships, and postsecondary education. The Workforce Coordinator serves as a primary liaison between participants, employers, training providers, and community partners to ensure participants successfully complete training, earn industry-recognized credentials, and obtain meaningful employment. The position also supports program reporting, grant compliance, and continuous quality improvement.
