About The Position

McAngus Goudelock & Courie (MGC) is seeking an associate attorney to join its Workers' Compensation team in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Requirements

Be licensed to practice law in South Carolina or have pending South Carolina bar exam results.

Responsibilities

Assess new files and establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations.
Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed.
Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, and provide thorough reports.
Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary.
Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants.
