The position guides ERP readiness and advisory work, shapes client strategy, facilitates stakeholder alignment, advises on Workday practices, and provides operational leadership across the Workday HCM product lifecycle. It also supports release management, collaborates across program workstreams, and contributes to practice growth through methodology development, proposals, business development, thought leadership, and internal capability building. Periodic travel may be required according to business and client needs.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Workday HCM solutions and the Workday ecosystem.
  • Workday customer or implementor certification in one or more HCM modules.
  • Strong functional knowledge of HCM business processes, common challenges with Workday solutions, and leading practices.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendations.
  • Ability to lead client engagements independently and collaboratively.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted advisor relationships with clients.
  • Experience supporting sales and business development.

  • Experience working with mission-driven sectors such as higher education, nonprofit, and state and local government.
  • Experience supporting business development efforts such as proposal writing and sourcing new business for existing clients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct ERP readiness assessments, develop roadmaps, and advise clients on ERP-related decisions within broader transformation efforts.
  • Collaborate with client leaders and practitioners to define a vision, evaluate options, and align technology investments with mission outcomes.
  • Lead meetings, workshops, interviews, and executive briefings to surface priorities, drive program execution, and build consensus.
  • Manage working relationships among clients, system implementation partners, independent contractors, and other third parties.
  • Provide Workday product expertise, practical solutions, and leading-practice advice to help clients address Workday challenges and decisions.
  • Facilitate the end-to-end product lifecycle for Workday HCM solutions, including roadmap definition, backlog prioritization, and delivery across configuration, integration, reporting, and technical teams.
  • Provide frameworks and tactical support for biannual Workday releases and routine system enhancements, maintaining platform stability and driving continuous improvement across HCM business processes.
