This position performs a leadership advisory role, assisting System Office, HM, and TIS management teams and colleagues in the identification, definition, analysis, and support of assigned programs, projects, and initiatives to achieve optimal outcomes relative to TIS and other programs and procedures. The role involves configuring and maintaining Workday modules including HCM, Recruiting, Talent, and Advanced Compensation. The consultant will technically lead and support Workday projects from end-to-end, encompassing requirements gathering, design, configuration, documentation, testing, and deployment. A key aspect is translating business needs into technical solutions and partnering with HR, Payroll, Recruiting, and IT teams. The consultant serves as the systems and process expert for implementations, leading projects around upgrades and configuration changes to align with business needs. Additionally, the role consults with various levels of management, provides critical data analysis, researches best business practices, determines operational objectives, and offers specialized guidance for integration, architecture, system selection, strategy, and process transformation. The consultant also researches and contributes to recommendations for new functionality, supports upgrade design, recommends innovative application solutions, investigates issues, and provides leadership direction for application integration decisions.
