The Education Abroad Office Student Worker provides front-line administrative and peer advising support to the Global Engagement Office. This role promotes UWYO Education Abroad programs, assists with student engagement initiatives, and contributes to the smooth operation of the office through clerical and communication tasks. Students employed in this position develop transferable professional skills in communication, customer service, project coordination, marketing, office administration, public speaking, and digital technologies. Through peer advising and outreach activities, students strengthen leadership abilities, intercultural competence, problem-solving skills, and professionalism while gaining firsthand experience in higher education administration and international education. These experiences prepare students for careers in business, government, nonprofit organizations, education, and other globally engaged professions.
