Work Study - Fall '26 - Chemistry 1410 Lab Assistant
About The Position
This position is open for up to 3 students and will assist with three sections of Chemistry 1410. The lab sections are held on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons. The lab assistant will help students with techniques, answer questions, fetch items from the stockroom, and clean up spills and broken glass as needed. Responsibilities also include checking and providing feedback on notebooks. The overall goal is to provide an additional set of eyes and hands to ensure the lab runs smoothly. The job also requires a couple of additional hours for grading and/or supervising makeup experiments.
Requirements
- Must be a student.
- Must be available for Chemistry 1410 lab sections on Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday afternoons (2:30-5:30pm).
- Must be available for additional hours for grading and/or supervising makeup experiments (Friday afternoons).
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Chemistry 1410 or similar.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
