About The Position

This is a work-study position at the Jay Rollins Library for Fall 2026. The role involves assisting library patrons and staff with various library tasks.

Requirements

• Students who are academically strong and responsible
• Accurate clerical skills
• Good customer service skills
• Reliable work ethic
• Must provide contact information: phone number and McM email address (use ONLY your McMurry student email address).
• Must contact financial aid to ensure all required documents, signatures, etc., are complete.
• Upon hire, if you have not worked at McMurry in the last year, you must present original forms of acceptable identification needed to complete the eligibility to work form (I-9) and banking information for direct deposit.

Nice To Haves

• Library and computer skills are preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Checking in, checking out, pulling, shelving, and shelf-reading books
• Assisting library patrons
• Answering phones
• Various tasks as assigned by library staff
