About The Position
This position is for a Work Study Lab Helper in the Chemistry department at Mohawk Valley Community College. The role involves assisting with lab maintenance and organization. The number of hours per week will depend on the federal work study funds awarded to the student, up to a maximum of 5.5 hours.
Requirements
- Must be a current MVCC student with work study funds available
- Successful completion of any MVCC Chemistry course
- Ability to follow directions
- Effective organizational skills and safety awareness
Responsibilities
- Washing and sanitation of glassware and lab equipment
- General cleaning
- Upkeep and calibration of equipment
- Organization of dry storage
