About The Position

The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Production Planner (Day Shift) to join our Production team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will play a central role in orchestrating assembly and delivery activities. You will be part of the planning team responsible for ensuring operational fluidity on the production line. You will be the key point of contact for transforming the industrial plan into concrete reality on the floor. The team organization is established to promote cross-collaboration autonomously, supporting each other and learning collectively. Your role as Production Planner will be to drive work execution and prioritize production progress while unblocking critical paths to ensure delivery milestones are met.

Requirements

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a College Diploma with equivalent experience
  • You have two to five years of relevant experience in logistics or production planning
  • You have a strong interest in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles
  • You are comfortable using the Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project)
  • You have an ease to use Google Suite (Files, Docs, Slides)

Nice To Haves

  • You have relevant experience in the automotive or aerospace industry (an asset)
  • You have a good understanding of written and spoken French and English (an asset)
  • You have work experience with SAP (an asset)

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the execution of work by Airbus teams and suppliers
  • Prioritize work progress to respect the production schedule
  • Provide daily support to the Operations Supervisor
  • Identify and unblock critical paths to maintain production flow
  • Ensure the achievement of operational milestones and the success of "Quality Gates"
  • Ensure a smooth follow-up of information between shifts
  • Interact with multidisciplinary teams (Logistics, Methods, Engineering, Quality)
  • Participate in improvement projects (AOS, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, cost reduction)
