Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Demonstrated experience in similar procurement or planning roles.
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a demanding environment.
- Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
- Ability to effectively interact with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- French language proficiency.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of a maintenance management system (e.g., Maximo) and Google Suite.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate purchase requests based on departmental needs (items, quantities, and specifications).
- Maintain a rigorous record of purchases and contracts to facilitate tracking and audits.
- Support the negotiation of prices and contractual terms with suppliers.
- Monitor the delivery of goods to ensure on-time receipt and resolve delays.
- Collaborate with the warehouse to monitor stock levels and avoid shortages or surpluses.
- Follow up on tools sent for calibration according to established procedures.
- Provide regular reports on purchasing activities, budget compliance, and supplier performance.
