About The Position

In this role you will be responsible for coordinating production work orders, work packages, technical data, materials, and tooling to support production readiness and project priorities. Works cross-functionally with Program Management, Engineering, Logistics, Production, and Quality to ensure information is accurate, requirements are met, and production deliveries remain on schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of aircraft modification/completions or technical aviation experience
  • 2+ years of logistics, production planning, material control, or project management
  • High attention to detail, organization, time management, prioritization, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Effective communication, cross-functional collaboration, coordination, accountability, and follow-through
  • Critical thinking, decision-making, proactive issue identification and resolution, and adaptability
  • Ability to interpret technical data, documentation, and engineering requirements
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Develops, reviews, audits, and continuously refines production work orders, work packages, and job cards to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with program requirements
  • Partners cross-functionally with Program Management, Logistics, Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to ensure work packages are accurate, complete, and communicated in accordance with established schedules and project priorities
  • Monitors engineering revisions and associated data to ensure applicable technical information is current, complete, and accurate prior to production release, minimizing downstream impacts to production flow
  • Prioritizes, plans, and expedites the flow of technical data, work packages, and materials across production, logistics, and support functions to maintain project priorities and production readiness
  • Monitors work-in-progress, material availability, and service requirements, proactively identifying potential constraints and coordinating timely resolution with appropriate stakeholders
  • Develops, maintains, and updates work order and production instruction templates, ensuring bills of material and supporting documentation are accurate, current, and aligned with applicable engineering revisions, configuration requirements, and production standards
  • Identifies, plans, and coordinates specialized tooling requirements in support of upcoming aircraft modifications, ensuring availability in accordance with production schedules
  • Assists with aircraft production scheduling priorities
  • Performs other related duties and special projects as assigned
