The Work Order Administrator is responsible for creating, reviewing, and maintaining work orders within the ERP/MRO system for aircraft components, assemblies, and repair activities. This role ensures accuracy in initiating work orders with correct part numbers, job scopes, customer requirements, and routing information. The administrator monitors the entire lifecycle of work orders, from release to closure, ensuring timely updates and coordinating with various departments such as production, repair stations, quality inspection, and engineering. A key aspect of this role is verifying the completeness and accuracy of all required documentation, including repair instructions, inspection records, certifications, and test results. The Work Order Administrator also tracks the progress of active work orders, communicates status updates, and ensures compliance with FAA regulations, Part 145 Repair Station procedures, and customer specifications. They are tasked with identifying and resolving discrepancies, supporting quality assurance audits, and assisting with the prioritization and scheduling of work orders. Additionally, this position generates reports on work order status and backlog, collaborates with inventory and logistics teams, and supports continuous improvement initiatives to enhance work order processing and data accuracy. General administrative and clerical support, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, is also expected.
