About The Position
The Event Work Experience Trainee position provides participants with hands-on experience supporting community events, activities, and special programs. Trainees assist with event setup, guest support, and event operations while developing foundational workplace and customer service skills. This is a temporary work experience opportunity with a predetermined number of training hours. Applicants must be pre-qualified for a Goodwill SoCal work experience program.

Responsibilities
- Assist with event setup and breakdown, including tables, chairs, canopies, signs, and equipment.
- Support guest service, participant check-in, and provide event information.
- Help manage crowd flow and event safety, and keep event areas clean and organized.
- Assist with event cleanup, supply storage, and proper handling of event materials.
