Plans and conducts a community relations program designed to create and maintain favorable public relations for the Center and its students and oversees the work-based learning program in accordance with DOL, PRH, corporate and Center requirements. This role involves planning, implementing, and marketing the work-based learning (WBL) program, developing and enforcing policies that meet DOL requirements, and recruiting, enrolling, and monitoring students. The coordinator will also be involved in creating WBL handbooks, conducting student orientations, training instructors and supervisors, monitoring work sites for quality and safety (including OSHA compliance), and ensuring all necessary documentation and agreements are in place. Additionally, the role includes coordinating student transportation, assisting with the Career Success Standards program, working towards performance goals, and adhering to all relevant guidelines and company policies. The coordinator will also model and mentor students in career success standards and help improve their employability.
