About The Position

Evergreen Family Medicine is seeking a certified sonographer to join its growing patient OB/Gyn clinic and help provide a positive patient experience and high-quality care. Evergreen Family Medicine serves outpatient needs through clinics in Roseburg and Myrtle Creek, Oregon, including Urgent Care, Family Practice, Women’s Health, Occupational Health, and school-based telehealth. The position includes performing ultrasounds, maintaining equipment and exam-room supplies, documenting appropriately, and communicating with providers and other team members. Candidates offered employment must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Requirements

Certification as a Medical Sonographer with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
Five years of experience.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

Review the schedule.
Clean and stock the exam room and check supply expiration dates.
Perform ultrasounds to the best of your ability.
Clean and maintain the ultrasound equipment, probes, and associated machinery.
Document appropriately.
Be flexible in work hours.
Perform other duties as directed by the manager.
Communicate with providers, nurses, and other team members to support patient well-being.
Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment for patients and staff according to policies and procedures.
Participate in economical utilization of supplies.
Ensure equipment is maintained in a safe and clean manner.
