About The Position

Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner Kennewick, Washington UHC Solutions is partnering with a large, established community health organization in Kennewick, Washington to recruit a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP). This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative OB/GYN team providing comprehensive women’s healthcare to a diverse and underserved patient population. The Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner will provide care across the reproductive lifespan, with a focus on gynecologic care, reproductive health, family planning, preventive services, and prenatal and postpartum care. This position is ideal for a provider who values relationship-based care and wants to make a meaningful impact within a community health setting. The WHNP will provide comprehensive outpatient women’s health services, including: Well-woman and comprehensive gynecologic examinations, Evaluation and treatment of common reproductive and gynecologic conditions, Family planning counseling and contraceptive management, Long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) and hormonal contraceptive services, Prenatal examinations, screenings, education, and ongoing care, Postpartum care and support, Preventive health education and counseling, Care throughout the reproductive lifespan, from adolescence through menopause, Coordination of care with OB/GYN physicians and other members of the healthcare team. You will work closely with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and support staff in an integrated, patient-centered environment with a strong commitment to culturally responsive care and serving the needs of the community.

Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing with a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner specialization
  • Current Washington State nursing license or ability to obtain
  • Certification as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner
  • DEA certification
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, treatment-planning, and communication skills
  • Commitment to compassionate, culturally responsive patient care

  • Previous women’s health experience preferred
