About The Position

Join a team dedicated to women's health. St. Joseph Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) to join our collaborative OB/GYN team. This is an opportunity to provide comprehensive care to women across the lifespan while helping expand access to essential women's health services in our community. The ideal candidate is passionate about preventive care, patient education, and building meaningful relationships with patients. You will work alongside OB/GYN physicians, midwives, nurses, and other members of the care team to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, preferably specializing in Women's Health.
  • Current, unrestricted APRN license in New Hampshire, or eligibility for licensure.
  • National board certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP-BC) or appropriate related certification.
  • Current prescriptive authority and required certifications.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in women's health, gynecology, or a related clinical setting preferred.
  • Strong communication, clinical assessment, and patient education skills.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and collaborative, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive women's health care across the lifespan, including preventive, reproductive, gynecologic, and menopause care.
  • Perform well-woman exams, screenings, and routine gynecologic evaluations.
  • Diagnose and manage common women's health conditions and coordinate appropriate follow-up care.
  • Work collaboratively with OB/GYN physicians, midwives, nurses, and other members of the care team.
  • Help expand access to women's health services and support the efficient use of physician and midwife resources.
  • Provide patient education and promote evidence-based, patient-centered care and shared decision-making.
  • Participate in a collaborative approach to care that supports quality, safety, and a positive patient experience.
