About The Position

As Senior Solution Architect, you will own the design of new North American implementations from the first workshop through go-live. You will learn how clients operate by spending time on the plant floor, translate their operations into clear requirements specifications for the build team, and verify that delivered solutions match what was agreed. This is a senior, hands-on role based in the north Atlanta area, reporting to the Head of Delivery for North America and working alongside a global build team. The company is an established international software provider of shop-floor solutions for mid-market manufacturers and distributors. Its configurable platform combines warehouse management, manufacturing execution, and transport management. The role offers senior ownership of design on major programs and an opportunity to influence how the North American practice develops.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years designing and implementing operational software in manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution, with direct ownership of requirements and design.
  • A track record of writing functional specifications or requirements documents that others have successfully built from.
  • Client-facing experience with plant and operations managers, including leading workshops and handling difficult scope conversations.
  • Full lifecycle implementation experience, including design, validation, training, UAT, and on-site cutover.
  • Comfort working with a build team in another country and time zone, where documentation must stand on its own.
  • Flexibility for occasional early starts, around 7:00 AM ET, to overlap with international colleagues.
  • Based in, or willing to relocate to, the north Atlanta area, and able to travel regularly to client sites across North America.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in industrial engineering, information systems, or a related field.
  • ERP experience, especially SYSPRO or Acumatica, and understanding of how shop-floor data flows into and out of ERP.
  • Experience with low-code or configurable platforms.
  • Exposure to barcode, RFID, scale integration, or other shop-floor data capture.
  • Experience mentoring less experienced colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Lead on-site client requirements gathering, process walkthroughs, and workshops with plant and operations leadership.
  • Write detailed Business Requirements Specifications that clearly define scope and provide build teams with actionable requirements.
  • Design solutions using standard templates and advise clients on configuration, process changes, and what should not be built.
  • Present designs to clients and internal leadership for sign-off.
  • Validate configured builds against specifications before client review and work with the build team to resolve gaps.
  • Train client super users, run User Acceptance Testing, and manage resulting adjustments.
  • Support on-site go-lives and remain until the client is running production on the system.
  • Hand clients over to support, documenting open items and briefing the support team.
  • Mentor US colleagues on design methods and contribute improvements to the global design standard.
  • Share first-line support across the wider delivery team.

Benefits

  • 100% employer-paid medical coverage for employees, with affordable options to add a spouse, children, or family.
  • $150 per month company contribution to a Health Savings Account (HSA).
  • 401(k) with a dollar-for-dollar company match up to 6%, eligible from day one and 100% vested immediately.
  • 15 days of paid time off per year, plus 7 paid company holidays.
  • Voluntary dental and vision plans.
  • Voluntary short-term and long-term disability, supplemental life and AD&D, accident, and critical illness coverage.
  • Optional telemedicine, identity protection, pre-paid legal, and pet insurance.
  • Senior ownership of design on major, visible programs, with influence over development of the North American practice.
