Requirements

  • 1+ year experience working with aviation electrical systems
  • High school diploma or an equivalent
  • Read and interpret blueprints
  • Basic arithmetic
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Proficient in the English language, written and verbal
  • Bend, twist, reach and stretch with body, arms and legs.
  • Manual and finger dexterity.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand for extended periods of time.
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Problem Solving
  • Must be available to work occasional overtime when necessary to meet deadlines.
  • This position is safety sensitive and adheres to DOT drug and alcohol regulations.
  • Compliance with safety and health protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment as required.

Nice To Haves

  • A&P license preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, repair, replace and perform functional checks
  • Assemble and install electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and structural accessories
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, test equipment, machines and components
  • Research, understand and adhere to technical data relevant to assigned task
  • Ensure complete and proper documentation of work performed
  • Ensure that all maintenance performed is in an airworthy condition
  • Coordinate with Management and Inspectors to ensure compliance with FAA and internal quality standards
  • Maintain the premises and the repair station in a clean and organized manner
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor
