About The Position

Aurum Wireless is hiring an entry-level sales representative to promote major national service providers’ wireless products and services inside established big-box retail locations. This active, face-to-face role involves proactively approaching shoppers, learning about their wireless needs, presenting relevant options, and helping interested customers enroll. No wireless experience is required; training and product education are provided.

The role offers hourly compensation plus applicable performance-based commission or bonuses, with an advertised pay range of $15–$27 per hour. It is part-time, with flexible scheduling and weekend availability as needed. Strong performers may have opportunities to take on added responsibilities, help coach teammates, and be considered for management training. Advancement depends on performance, reliability, leadership ability, available positions, and business needs; promotion is not automatic.

Responsibilities

• Proactively engage shoppers and start friendly conversations.
• Ask questions to understand customers’ wireless needs.
• Present relevant plans, products, features, and promotions.
• Explain options clearly and help customers make informed decisions.
• Guide interested customers through the enrollment process.
• Follow up with prospective customers when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate sales records and follow company procedures.
• Work toward individual and team performance goals.
• Participate in coaching, training, and team development.
• As development and opportunities allow, assist with onboarding, share successful sales techniques, and support team goals.
