About The Position

Dent Wizard is hiring a Detailer to clean and refurbish vehicles to the company’s quality standards, presenting each vehicle in pristine condition. The role involves detailing vehicle interiors and exteriors, using appropriate cleaning products and equipment while maintaining safety and quality standards. Detailers work in ventilated automotive repair shops, refurbishing facilities, or outdoors. Previous automotive detailing experience is preferred but not required; paid training is indicated in the posting title.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for vehicle care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Physical stamina for manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Capability to perform simple and fine motor hand manipulations.
• Ability to operate various detailing equipment and tools.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in automotive detailing is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean, wash, wax, and polish vehicle exteriors.
• Vacuum, shampoo, and clean vehicle interiors, including upholstery, carpets, and floor mats.
• Clean and polish vehicle windows, mirrors, and chrome accessories.
• Apply protective finishes to provide lasting shine and protection.
• Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects or areas needing attention.
• Select and use appropriate cleaning products and tools while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized detailing workspace.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including safety and health regulations.
• Immediately report damage or issues to management.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and ensuring satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
