Join our TEAM - Together Everyone Achieves More. We are looking for a Wire Specialist I to join our Operations Admin team at Open Bank! The Wire Specialist I is responsible for assisting in the daily Wire operations workflow, handling daily incoming & outgoing wire transfers, and supporting the branch to maintain system integrity, compliance requirements, and client satisfaction. Also responsible for building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers while providing exemplary customer service.

Requirements

  • Ability to develop/run queries, create reports and presentations and provide analysis.
  • Accurate data entry and well organized.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college preferred but not required.
  • One year of bank operations experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Input wire transfers accurately and timely.
  • Ensure all incoming and outgoing wires are checked against OFAC SDN list.
  • Perform daily balancing of incoming and outgoing wire transfers, including proper processing and posting.
  • Input & follow-up on Canadian Check Collection.
  • Process Cash order & Shipment deposit.
  • Maintain up to date with the current compliance requirements.
  • Complete and understand training classes as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with BSA and other compliance requirements, as applicable to job function.
  • Keep informed of daily procedures, internal policies, practices, regulations, and laws as applicable to this function.
