We are seeking a Wire Specialist to join our Operations team. In this role, you will play a critical part in processing domestic and international wire transfers while ensuring compliance, security, and exceptional customer service.   • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field preferred.
  • Must have at least 2 years in banking, finance, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of banking products.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deposit targets.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and banking programs/software.
  • Familiarity with compliance requirements and industry best practices.
  • Strong ethical values and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming and outgoing domestic and international wire transfers accurately and timely.
  • Verify wire requests for authenticity, proper approvals, and compliance with bank policies and regulations.
  • Monitor wire activity and ensure transactions are completed within service standards.
  • Identify and escalate suspicious or unusual transactions.
  • Assist with audits, examinations, and compliance reviews.
  • Provide customer support for various operational inquiries, including deposit accounts, online banking, debit cards, and account services.
  • Manage and respond to requests through the bank's ticketing system.
  • Support branch staff and Operations team members through training and operational guidance.
  • Help identify process improvements that enhance efficiency and service delivery.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of customer and bank information.
  • Participate in assigned weekend operational support rotations.
  • Provide operational support for Redstone Bank when applicable.
