About The Position

The Wire Harness Assembler repairs, assembles, and tests wire harnesses. The role follows written procedures or verbal instructions, inspects parts and assemblies for compliance with customer specifications and standards, enters data and tasks into a computer, prints package labels, packages units, and supports process improvements. Work may include reviewing the work of others, and employees may be asked to perform duties outside their usual responsibilities as needed. The position offers a flexible schedule with the option of four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts, with flexible start times. The stated salary range is $16.00 to $18.00 per hour. RVI is a family-owned, full-service provider of electronic repair, testing, and inventory management solutions, with a focus on creating jobs in rural Upper Midwest communities.

Requirements

Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and distinguish differences in numbering sequences.
Able to apply common-sense understanding to carry out simple instructions.
Able to handle standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
Able to work with and handle various tools and materials.
Education and experience, or a combination of both, that provides the skills and knowledge needed for successful performance.

Nice To Haves

Computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are helpful but not required.
