About The Position

Moeller Precision Tool is seeking an experienced Wire EDM Operator to work on its night shift team near Nashville, Tennessee. The role involves producing high-precision tooling components for global industries in a clean, climate-controlled precision machining environment. The operator will set up and operate Wire EDM machines, work with tool steel and hardened materials, inspect finished components, and maintain quality and production requirements. Training begins on day shift before transitioning to nights. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, with 45–50 hours per week and required overtime. Pay is $26.25–$31.25 per hour, including a $2.25-per-hour night shift premium; overtime is paid at 1.5 times the regular rate after 40 hours.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of Wire EDM or related machining experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Experience holding tight tolerances on precision components.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
• High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with tool steel is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Mitsubishi, Makino, Fanuc, or similar Wire EDM equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Wire EDM machines.
