About The Position

The Wire EDM Operator runs multiple machines in a high-precision shop producing handheld-size engine components and related parts for automotive, aerospace, power generation, and Department of Defense work. The department has eight Wire EDM machines, including Mitsubishi and GF/George Fischer equipment. The role involves setting up, programming or editing, and operating multiple machines while supporting production and maintaining part quality. More experience is strongly preferred. The target start is within the next 30 days. This is a direct-hire role with standard benefits.

Requirements

• Solid Wire EDM experience.
• Ability to run multiple machines at once.
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.
• Ability to perform inspections using precision measuring tools.

Nice To Haves

• More Wire EDM experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program or edit, and operate multiple Mitsubishi and GF/George Fischer Wire EDM machines to produce precision parts to tight tolerances.
• Load and unload workpieces, change wire, and keep machines running efficiently across the department.
• Read blueprints and work instructions, make adjustments as needed, and maintain consistent part quality.
• Perform in-process and final inspections using standard precision measuring tools.
• Handle basic machine maintenance and support continuous production on the multi-machine Wire EDM cell.
