About The Position

Serve guests in a hospitable manner to ensure a positive guest experience at Chateau Élan Winery & Resort. The role includes greeting guests, preparing and serving drinks according to HEI Hotels and Resorts beverage service standards, and complying with applicable requirements for alcoholic beverage service. The server prepares the station before opening and closing, follows cash-handling and bank procedures, completes assigned side work, and maintains regular attendance. Other job-related duties may be assigned. Hotel experience is preferred. Candidates should be able to build effective working relationships, use a point-of-service computer, communicate effectively with different audiences, and demonstrate full knowledge of state liquor laws. The role requires repeatedly transporting trays weighing up to 30 pounds through a crowded room during a shift, with or without reasonable accommodation. This position is eligible for tips/service charges and is not eligible for a discretionary performance bonus. Requirements

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, customers, and patrons.
Ability to use a point-of-service computer.
Full knowledge of state liquor laws.
Ability to transport trays weighing up to 30 pounds through a crowded room continuously throughout a shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, including adapting communication style to different audiences.
