About The Position

The Wine Stocker is an hourly position responsible for serving customers and maintaining the Farm retail wine department in accordance with established Farm policies, strategies, and procedures. The role involves speaking with customers about wine and beer, helping increase department sales, and providing attentive service to patrons. The Wine Stocker maintains product displays and backstock, keeps storage areas clean and orderly, and communicates low product levels to the Wine & Cheese Manager. Other related or unrelated duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Previous customer service experience is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to new processes.
• Strong work ethic and good follow-through.
• Physical fitness and ability to stand and lift 50 pounds regularly.

• Some wine and/or beer knowledge.
• Previous customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, attentive customer service by answering questions and directing customers to products.
• Maintain familiarity with the retail layout and products.
• Keep beer and wine storage areas clean and orderly.
• Maintain and stock product displays; ensure products are rotated, organized, stocked, labeled, and clean.
• Backstock products regularly.
• Communicate low product levels to the Wine & Cheese Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
