About The Position

In this role, you will work closely with store employees and outside vendors to ensure the finest variety of wines, beers, and spirits are available on the shelves for customers throughout the day. You will check the accuracy and quality of deliveries to ensure products are processed correctly and meet Wegmans’ standards. The role is suited to someone who is interested in making an impact and building relationships.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with and provide service to vendors and internal customers.
• Verify incoming deliveries by checking that the quantity and type of products received are correct and match invoices.
• Unload deliveries, stock and replenish shelves and displays, and rotate product.
• Maintain the overall appearance of the department and backroom.
• Assist departments in tracking and processing vendor credits and maintain records of billing, credits, transfers, inventory, damages, and variances.
