About The Position

The Stocker is an hourly position responsible for stocking groceries and servicing customers by maintaining the Farm retail stand in conformance with established Farm policies, strategies, and procedures.

The role provides courteous and attentive customer service, maintains and stocks product displays, communicates product shortages to management, and keeps retail facilities clean and organized. The Stocker may also assist with other duties as needed, including bagging groceries, sweeping, organizing, and cart retrieval. Other related or unrelated duties may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Demonstrate interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Possess a strong work ethic.
• Be physically fit and able to stand and lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.

Nice To Haves

• Some stocking experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and attentive customer service by answering questions, directing customers to products, and keeping the Farm stand clean and orderly.
• Stay familiar with the retail layout and products.
• Maintain and stock product displays; ensure products are properly rotated, organized, stocked, labeled, and clean.
• Communicate low or out-of-stock products to the Market Manager or Assistant Manager.
• Keep retail facilities clean and organized, including removing trash and recycling, sweeping floors, and dusting display areas.
• Assist with other duties as needed, such as bagging groceries, sweeping, organizing, and cart retrieval.
• Perform functions within the scope of authority and expertise to provide a high level of customer service and responsiveness.
