About The Position

The Wine Clerk works in the Wine and Spirits department and provides customer service that exceeds customer expectations. The role involves displaying and selling liquor products and advising customers about wine quality, handling methods, and other factors affecting the product. The Wine Clerk maintains department standards, follows company policies and procedures, and meets Bristol Farms standards for service, quality, and cleanliness. The position requires a positive, respectful, flexible, and service-oriented approach, along with adherence to employee handbook standards for service and appearance.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
One to three months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Positive, can-do attitude; treats others with respect and adjusts to workplace changes.
Able to stand, walk, handle objects, tools, or controls, and perform the physical activities described for the role.
Frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Able to use a two-wheeled dolly to carry over 100 pounds at a time and safely use a razor-blade box cutter.
Close and color vision.

Responsibilities
