About The Position
The Wine & Beer Team Member delivers outstanding Customer Service while supporting daily operations within the department. The role ensures shelves, coolers, and displays are stocked, rotated, and merchandised to Plum Market’s standards. The Team Member engages Customers with product knowledge, assists with receiving and stocking, and helps maintain a clean, organized, service-driven environment. The position is suited to someone enthusiastic about wine and beer, interested in learning, and committed to providing a warm Customer experience. It requires teamwork, communication, attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail setting. Flexible scheduling may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements
- Enthusiasm for wine and beer and a desire to learn more.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-directed, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand and walk for up to four hours without a break.
- Ability to bend and stoop to grasp objects, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and push or pull carts weighing up to 100 lbs. unassisted.

Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional Customer Service through friendly, informed, and helpful interactions.
- Stock and rotate products in wine and beer displays, coolers, and end caps.
- Maintain backstock organization and assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Ensure accurate signage, pricing, and promotional display execution.
- Build, face, and maintain displays that align with department goals.
- Assist with inventory counts and communicate low or out-of-stock items to the Buyer or leadership team.
- Collaborate with fellow Team Members on tasks and share product knowledge.
- Maintain department cleanliness and organization, including shelves, floors, and storage areas.
- Follow Plum Market policies, procedures, and safety standards.
