About The Position

Tetrad Digital Integrity (TDI) is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator to join the Compartmented Enterprise Services Office (CESO) effort. The program is establishing a modern secure web service operation on a highly automated platform to support a rapidly expanding customer population. The administrator will support CESO’s migration to a high-security cloud environment by providing network and communication services, monitoring services, and system administration. This position is onsite five days per week in Arlington, Virginia, and requires an active TS/SCI clearance. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Current DoD 8750 certification at least IAT Level II, such as Security+ CE.
• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of overall related experience with a Windows or Linux server environment; additional experience, education, and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• VMware administration, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of virtualized environments.
• Windows infrastructure administration, including Remote Desktop Services (RDS), Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), Local Security Policies, and Windows Task Scheduler.
• PowerShell scripting and automation, with experience in additional scripting languages such as Python.
• System and application administration, including hardware/software installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Security hardening and compliance experience, including implementation of DISA STIGs, commercial security best practices, and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) scanning and validation.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience with DISA and its support to mission partners.
• Integration of Network Management (NM) and Element Management (EM) systems with network performance, trouble ticketing, and security subsystems.
• Experience with support systems including enclave Ethernet switches, storage area networks (SAN), and network attached storage (NAS).
• Thorough knowledge of networking principles, including TCP/IP.
• Experience with a ticketing system such as BMC Remedy.
• ITIL v3 Foundation certification.
• Linux OS experience.
• Solaris OS experience.
• Experience working with virtual environments.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and implement detailed documentation for standard systems operating procedures used across the enterprise.
• Develop, implement, and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
• Analyze hardware and software from outside vendors and recommend cost-effective solutions for purchase and installation.
• Review work performed by lower-level technical staff.
• Work independently and coordinate with network administrators to maintain smooth operation of a multi-user computer system.
