About The Position

Tague Lumber is seeking a motivated Window Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you'll work closely with homeowners, contractors, builders, and industry professionals to provide expert guidance, prepare estimates and takeoffs, and deliver outstanding customer service from project start to finish. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, have a strong understanding of windows and building materials, and thrive on helping customers succeed, we'd love to hear from you.

Requirements

  • Experience reading blueprints and construction plans.
  • Estimating and material takeoffs.
  • Knowledge of windows, building materials, or the residential/commercial construction industry.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn technical product information quickly.
  • Comfortable presenting products and recommending solutions based on customer needs.
  • Proficient with computers and sales/order entry systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
  • Willingness to take ownership of assigned responsibilities and deliver accurate, timely work.
  • Successful completion of a background check, physical, and drug screening.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell a full line of high-quality window products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers through in-person, phone, and email communication.
  • Prepare accurate takeoffs, estimates, bids, and quotes based on customer plans and specifications.
  • Provide product recommendations and technical expertise to help customers choose the best solutions for their projects.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our window product offerings and stay current on industry trends.
  • Manage projects from quote through order completion, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Resolve customer questions and concerns with professionalism and urgency.
  • Identify opportunities to maximize sales while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including purchasing, operations, and delivery, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
