About The Position

Eikenhout is a Michigan-based distributor of exterior building products that has served Michigan contractors for more than 125 years. The Window & Door Specialist works with local contractors and homeowners on window and door projects, supporting customers throughout the design and ordering process to ensure satisfaction and resolve warranty issues. The role also supports Outside Sales with project quotes and pricing and coordinates with vendors and suppliers.

Requirements

• Strong time-management and organizational skills.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.

• Experience in the residential construction industry is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and complete takeoffs.
• Support Outside Sales with project quotes and pricing.
• Provide bids to contractors.
• Determine customers’ needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Advise customers on products suited to their needs.
• Arrange product ordering and delivery.
• Follow orders throughout the process to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with vendors and suppliers.
• Manage purchase order processes.
• Resolve warranty issues.
