About The Position

West Shore Home is hiring a Window and Door Installer in Rochester, NY. The Installer assists with safe, effective installations in accordance with company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols, while providing customers with a 5-star experience. The role involves traveling to customers’ homes to remove and replace windows and exterior doors, replace trim, and care for and clean customers’ homes. The position offers paid training. The approximate pay is $20–$22 per hour; final compensation may vary based on qualifications and geographic location.

Requirements

• Experience in carpentry, remodeling, plumbing, or construction, or a willingness to learn.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• A valid smartphone or smart device to log into company-required systems using two-factor authentication.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at the warehouse at 6:30 AM to load materials and trucks.
• Travel to customers’ homes, greet them, and establish rapport.
• Remove existing window and door components and install replacement windows and exterior doors.
• Replace trim.
• Clean up thoroughly and take care of the customer’s home.
• Collect paperwork and payment, then return to the warehouse.
• Follow company standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment protocols while performing installations safely and effectively.
