Within GE Vernova Wind's Project Management organization, support is required in 4 critical areas. Each area will be staffed by a respective intern. The phases and specific job descriptions are noted below.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program from an accredited university.
Eligible Majors: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or related.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Successful completion of a drug screen (as applicable).

Nice To Haves

Preferred GPA of 3.2/4.0 overall or higher.
Passion for the wind energy industry, engineering, and dedication to a career in technology.
Proven scholastic achievements, proactive leadership skills, and prior intern, co-op, or research experience in design engineering or manufacturing.
Highly motivated, self-starter, energetic, positive individual who is flexible in changing environments.
Ability to demonstrate a structured approach to problem solving and learning agility.
Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms.
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in project teams in an international environment.

Responsibilities

Support the Execution Phase (Construction & Procurement) by tracking the delivery schedule of massive wind turbine components to ensure alignment with construction crew availability.
Assist the Project Manager in reviewing daily field reports, tracking hours worked, and ensuring contractor adherence to safety and quality protocols during the Execution Phase.
Compile the "as-built" documentation package during the Project Closeout & Handover phase, reviewing receiving documents, results, certification documents, and commissioning reports.
Identify, track, and close out "punch list" items (small defects or unfinished tasks) to ensure project completion before final payment milestones.
