Requirements

  • Current enrollment in undergrad or graduate degree.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to host and facilitate virtual meetings, capture detailed meeting minutes, and manage action-item tracking to ensure timely follow-up.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, reporting) and PowerPoint (professional presentation development).
  • Ability to organize tasks, manage project documentation, and maintain accurate records of operational activities.

Responsibilities

  • Plan & Schedule: Create and manage maintenance schedules based on manuals, weather, and labor availability to ensure efficiency.
  • Predictive Maintenance: Use data-driven strategies to proactively address technical and business-related issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records, track site tasks, and standardize work processes (e.g., vendor onboarding and best practices).
  • Staffing: Partner with contractors to ensure the right skills and staffing levels are in place.
  • Performance: Hold partners accountable for quality, safety, and operational targets.
  • Safety Culture: Foster a strong, uncompromising safety environment across all third-party teams.
  • Standards: Ensure all work meets company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Reporting: Regularly update senior management on key performance indicators (KPIs), maintenance results, and operational efficiency.

Benefits

  • Relocation Assistance: Co-op/Interns will be reimbursed for reasonable, proper, and documented expenditures incurred while initially reporting to work and returning to school/home upon completion of the assignment. Employees with a permanent address greater than 50 miles away from the work location are eligible.
  • Housing Allowance: Co-op/Interns employees receive a weekly housing allowance to help off-set living expenses when the co-op/Intern’s permanent residence is at least 50 miles away from the work location.

  • GE Vernova Retirement Savings Plan (RSP) after their accumulated service reaches 90 days, and they meet any other eligibility requirements as defined in the plans. (Eligibility occurs on the 1st of the month following the 90th day.)
