GE Vernova WIND Internship-2027

GE VernovaSchenectady, NY
$21 - $36

About The Position

Addressing the climate crisis is an urgent global priority, and at GE Vernova, we take our responsibility seriously. That is the singular mission of GE Vernova: to continue electrifying the world while simultaneously working to help decarbonize it. Are you passionate about innovation? Are you excited at the opportunity to electrify and decarbonize the world? We operate with a founder’s mindset. We deliver innovation with passion, speed, and courage. We continuously challenge our thinking and are empowered to dream big and take smart risks. This phase is critical for moving a project from "construction mode" to "long-term operations." Quality Assurance (QA) Documentation Intern: Responsible for compiling the "as-built" documentation package. This involves reviewing receiving documents, results, certification documents, and commissioning reports to hand over a completed, compliant asset to the owner or operator. Punch List Coordinator: Helps identify, track, and close out "punch list" items—the small defects or unfinished tasks remaining after the major construction is complete—ensuring the project is fully finished before the final payment milestones are reached. This is the "boots on the ground" phase where schedules are tight and logistics are critical. Logistics & Supply Chain Coordinator Intern: Wind turbine components (blades, towers, nacelles) are massive and require specialized transport. You would help track the delivery schedule of these components to the site to ensure they align with the construction crew's availability. Subcontractor Management Intern: A wind farm involves many contractors (civil, electrical, installation).
