Wind Hub Technician - WY1- (Casper, WY)

GE Vernova
•$33 - $44•Onsite

About The Position

The Wind Technician is a critical, active role responsible for maintaining optimal function and output at wind sites through daily turbine operations, safety, quality control, and warranty repairs. The role requires local travel within Hub WY1 and work at any site in the hub as assigned by the manager. The technician partners with the Site Lead and Manager to meet contract requirements and timelines and maintain alignment with GE standards. This is not a remote position, despite a conflicting remote-position tag elsewhere in the posting. The technician performs maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment used in GE wind turbine generators; troubleshoots mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues; supports site operations with minimal supervision; documents work using computer-based reporting procedures; and communicates with GE’s remote operations center when needed. The position requires flexibility for rotating shifts, on-call work, and occasional overnight stays based on site or hub needs.
